TRM-IV Turn Ratio Meter

TRM-IV Transformer ratio meter is the second generation of transformation ratio test equipment newly launched by our company in 2012, which can be used for test of three-phase transformer in power system, especially for Z-type winding transformer, rectifier transformer and balancing transformer. With advantages of large-screen LCD display, English menus and English characters printout, friendly human-computer interface, functional maturation and easy operation, the tester is an ideal instrument for manufacturers of power system, transformer and railway electrical system to make tests on transformation ratio, group, polarity and angle.

Product characteristics

1. The instrument is integrated with single-phase and three-phase reference power supply with stable amplitude and constant phase.

2. The output power of internal reference power supply is large, with maximum of 5A output, which is especially appropriate for test of low-voltage transformer and test of number of turns of semi-products during CT and PT manufacturing process.

3. The instrument can rapidly and accurately test the turn ratio, turns ratio error and phase difference of current transformer (CT) and potential transformer (PT).

4. The instrument can test single-phase or three-phase transformer, which is suitable for test of Z-type winding transformer, rectifier transformer and Scott transformer, inverse Scott transformer and balancing transformer of railway electrical system.

5. The test accuracy is high, and with 16-digit high-precision AD and high-speed DSP processor, the instrument can effectively ensure the measurement accuracy and anti-jamming capability.

6. Non-partial discharge voltage regulating output is used for the instrument, it’s rapid for voltage regulating and measurement, and boost and test can be completed in 5 seconds.

7. The instrument can automatically judge the rated transformation ratio tapped currently: for the test of multiple-tap transformer, the test can be conducted just to input once the voltage regulating rate of tapping switch, without the current tap number, which greatly increases work efficiency.

8. The instrument has functions on over-current protection and connection test.

9. The instrument has 320x240 large screen and high light LCD display, Chinese character menus and operation tips to realize friendly man-machine interface, and rotating mouse makes operation more easily.

10.The instrument has electronic clock to automatically record the test date and time which facilitates to storage and manage the test results.

11.The panel thermal printer can rapidly print the test results at site.

12.Data can be stored and browsed at power down, 1000 groups of test results can be stored, and the instrument can connect to computer to transmit data.

4. Insulating Strength

    1)The insulation resistances of voltage and current of the input terminal to shell should be equal to or greater than 100MΩ.

    2)The withstand power frequency between the working power supply input terminal and the shell is 2KV (effective value).

        The experiment lasts 1 minute.
