Manual Transmission in Automobile System
Leave a message
Simply put, manual transmission is a transmission method that requires the driver to adjust the car according to their personal preferences and actual situation when using the car. It achieves different power transmission requirements for high and low speeds through gears of different sizes under the driver's control. The adoption of new technologies for technological upgrading is the path of MT development, and the following methods can be adopted:
① using high-performance steel to increase the stiffness of gears, reduce deformation and wear of transmission gears during rotation, increase the bonding between gears, and reduce energy loss caused by sliding;
② Adopting different bearing structures, replacing tapered bearings with ball and column bearing structures to reduce energy loss caused by friction misalignment during gear rotation;
③ Using high-performance lubricants to reduce gear friction during shifting, increase fit and reduce energy loss; ④ Reducing the amount of transmission lubricating oil can reduce the energy loss of a car by 6% to 8% when unloaded.
